EASY Bananas Foster Topping

My kids love pancakes and my son Tyler loves them with bananas. Last year for his first day of 2nd grade, I made him Banana Pancakes and since he will be starting 3rd grade on Thursday, he has requested pancakes with EASY Bananas Foster Topping! When we go out to eat, my son orders off the adult menu and almost always finishes everything on his plate. One morning we went out to breakfast and he ordered Bananas Foster Pancakes and a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. I could not believe how large the pancake portion was. My husband and I tried a couple bites, but Tyler went to town and came pretty close to finishing all of the pancakes. He amazes me with how much he can eat. Don’t get me wrong, he is constantly swimming, playing basketball or baseball, and loves playing sports, so he burns a ton of calories and needs a lot of food. I wish I could eat as much as him and not worry about gaining a few pounds. Since Tyler loved the breakfast at the restaurant so much, he inspired me to make pancakes with EASY Bananas Foster Topping and it was a huge hit! I usually have a bag of pancake mix from Costco, so I used that for the pancakes and the Bananas Foster Topping is really easy, so this would make a great breakfast for back to school, on a weekend, or for a special treat anytime.

It only takes three ingredients to make your pancakes drool-worthy. I linked to this in my Pancake Mix Fix post. Thanks for sharing. http://www.morewithlessmom.com/index.php/2015/09/21/pancake-mix-fix/

Thank you for having posted this; this recipe saved breakfast. I knew we were out of syrup, so I’d planned to make apple compote to put on top of the pancakes. However, as I started to prepare the apples, they were all bad. I noticed I had a couple bananas on the verge of over-ripening. I googled banana pancake toppings recipes, yours was the only one that didn’t have ridiculous ingredients, so I gave it a go. It was delicious.
